Dr. Derek Webb

Derek is an advocate of data based decision making and industrial statistical techniques.  He conducts research, teaches, and consults on the design of experiments, metrology, process characterization and statistical process control.  Derek has publications in the field of industrial statistics and has spoken at national and international conferences.

 

 

Derek is a faculty member at Bemidji State University in Minnesota.  Previously, he was a faculty member at the University of Alaska and has also worked as a as a statistician at a large manufacturing facility.  He consults with companies and individuals in manufacturing and the health sciences on a regular basis.  Derek has been invited to be a guest lecturer at the University of Iceland in the spring of 2006.  He teaches industrial statistics in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering.
